Sinopsis
Randy "The Ram" Robinson (Mickey Rourke) is a professional wrestling wrestler who, after having been a star in the 1980s, tries to continue his career on the independent circuit, fighting in third-rate rings. When he realizes that the brutal blows he has received throughout his career are beginning to take their toll on him, he decides to put some order in his life: he tries to get closer to Stephanie, the daughter he abandoned (Evan Rachel Wood) and tries to overcome loneliness with his love for Cassidy, a stripper (Marisa Tomei).
