Sinopsis

Ben Sanderson (Nicolas Cage), an alcoholic screenwriter, has just lost his job in Hollywood because his drinking problems affect his performance. With no friends and no family, he decides to go to Las Vegas with the purpose of drinking himself to death. As soon as he arrives in the city, he meets Sera (Elisabeth Shue), an attractive prostitute who works on the street with whom he falls in love.
